KM 131 R Kombi-Tool Engine

Description

The next generation of Kombi engines now feature the updated 4-MIX engine. Simple to use, the KM 131 R offers maximum versatility, powering several different attachments for property and garden maintenance. Compact and easy to transport, this tool is perfect for professional contractors and maintenance teams. The updated 4-MIX® engine features simplified starting, improved handling and larger fuel tank for improved run time.

Manual fuel pump

The manual fuel pump makes starting the tool easier. Pressing the pump ensures fewer strokes are required to start the tool as sufficient fuel is present within the carburettor.

Loop handle (R)

The loop handled grass trimmers and brushcutters are ideal for working in areas where space is limited, e.g. thinning between bushes and shrubs.

Multi-function handle with stop button

All the engine controls can be controlled with just one hand featuring a stop switch which automatically reverts back to the start position for a quicker, simple restart.

Air filter with long service life

Stop switch

The multi-function control handle features a stop switch which automatically reverts back to the start position for a quicker, simple restart.

Anti-vibration system

Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to long-term effects on blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL has therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system whereby the oscillations from the machine’s engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.

Decompression system

The decompression valve allows some of the compression pressure in the cylinder to escape, so less force on the starter rope is needed.

Quick-release coupling

The quick-release coupling allows the KombiSystem to be quickly dismantled into two parts for easy transport and storage – and then re-assembled quickly without tools
