Description
The STIHL ADVANCE FlexTEC trousers (Class 1*, Design C**) are a premium choice for professional users working in forestry, arboriculture and landscaping. This newly designed trousers offer maximum comfort, robustness, breathability and excellent freedom of movement, making them the optimum choice for professional PPE from STIHL.
With a slim professional fit, the ADVANCE FlexTEC trousers have reduced snagging and weight, giving a more professional appearance. The lower leg of the trousers has an elasticated cuff which has a close fit to the calf, protecting from ticks, sawdust and snow and providing robust thorn and abrasion protection. The knee area is also reinforced with robust, waterproof elastic fabric. The flexible ProElast insert in the crotch area has an elasticated connection, giving greater freedom of movement. And the lightweight AVERTICâ„¢ Pro lite+ cut-protection material is elastically bonded to the outer fabric of the trousers for greater freedom of movement. This material is developed exclusively for professional STIHL PPE. All of this makes the ADVANCE FlexTEC trousers extremely comfortable to wear and ideal for professional users throughout the entire working day.
ADVANCE FlexTEC trousers are constructed from a highly breathable material which helps keeps the wearer cool during work. There are ventilation zips on the thigh section of the trouser which let you regulate the temperature in warmer conditions. Integrated cut-protection provides extra safety when working with your chainsaw. Kidney protection keeps you warm in cold temperatures and offers extra protection from scratches and impact to the lower back when working in difficult terrains. The inner lining and thigh material of the trousers are made from 100% recycled polyester. Plus, the trousers have a PFAS-free water repellent finish on the lower leg areas of the trouser.
The trousers have large reflective silver stripes, and neon green accents on the pocket. You can attach STIHL braces to the ADVANCE FlexTEC trousers thanks to the buttons and loops on the waistband. You can quickly and securely adjust the waist thanks to the Velcro adjustment – and the high proportion of elasticated material used on the trousers makes them equally suitable for both male and female wearers. Two side pockets are easily accessible, and the trousers also have a back pocket, thigh pocket and a ruler pocket – meaning there is plenty of space for gloves and other accessories. All pockets are equipped with a flat zip closure to prevent resinification of the zip teeth.

Occasions arise whereby warranty periods may be extended / shortened, due to promotional campaigns. Correspondence detailing these changes will be released before the promotion’s active date.
STIHL connected professional warranty extension
Extension of professional warranty by 1 year when purchased with selected professional petrol tools and AP System battery tools with a STIHL Smart Connector or Smart Connector 2 A. VIKING to STIHL transition
From 1 January 2019 all VIKING grounds care products were re-branded to become STIHL. Therefore for any warranty enquiries relating to the VIKING product range, please refer to the section labelled STIHL grounds care products.
Security updates
The iMOW® will receive security updates for at least 24 months after purchase.
ADVANCE ProCOM will receive security updates for at least 36 months after purchase.
STIHL Clothing
For your PPE to last, it needs regular and appropriate cleaning. Fortunately, protective clothing can be washed in the washing machine, taking into consideration the following instructions:
- Use the gentle or delicate cycle at no more than 60°C and a spin speed of 400 rpm or less.
- Do not use bleach or strong chemical cleaners.
- Do not wash chainsaw cut protection clothing inside out.
- Close Velcro and zips before putting your PPE in the washing machine.
- Wash similar colours together.
- Use colour-friendly or mild detergent, but do not use fabric softener.
- Air dry after washing.
- Iron at a low temperature to reactivate the dirt and water resistance in the outer layer.
- Store clean clothing in a dry, dark place – don’t store PPE clothing if it is dirty.
