The Opinel Lock Knife is a firm favourite pocket knife for outdoor enthusiasts. Made with a wooden handle and carbon steel blade in the same fashion that they have been since Opinel began producing them in 1890.
The blade of the knife folds away into the handle and when opened is held in place with a Virobloc safety ring.

The Opinel company, located in Chambéry in the Alps, continues to be run by his descendants, producing high-quality items for over 130 years. Opinel products come with a lifetime warranty and are exchanged in case of defects in materials and workmanship. Damages due to normal wear and tear, improper use, dismantling or other alteration, are not covered by the warranty.
