New to EGO’s Power+ range of cordless garden tools for 2021, the ST1400E-ST line trimmer is the latest model in EGO’s range to equipped with their unique Powerload™ technology. Following on from the world’s first self-winding line trimmer (EGO Power+ ST1510E), the ST1400E-ST model gives you more choice in this game-changing technology. Fully reload the line in less than 10 seconds with no fuss and no frustration.
Featuring a 35cm cutting width, the ST1400E-ST is supplied with a 2.4mm line diameter and cuts in a clockwise rotation. Variable speed settings mean that you can ramp up the power when you’re tackling a particularly tough patch, and you can replenish your line when needed thanks to the bump head which is fitted.
For comfort, the loop-handle can be adjusted to suit your working style, plus the telescopic shaft means the height is also adjustable to reduce bending and provide long-term health benefits.
As a kit product, the ST1401E-ST line trimmer kit is supplied with a 2.5Ah battery and standard charger. This means, when it comes to weight, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Without the battery attached, the tool is 3.4kg (4.6kg in total with the battery attached) and will run for up to 60 minutes on a full charge. The standard charger will fully recharge this battery in 50 minutes.

EGO POWER+ WARRANTY POLICY
We’re so confident in the performance of our tools that we offer professional users a 3-year warranty on the Pro X range and a 2-year warranty on the Professional range when tools are registered within 30 days of purchase. For domestic users, we offer a 5-year warranty on all tools and a 3-year warranty on batteries when registered within 30 days of purchase.

This guarantee does not limit the buyer’s rights arising from the contract of sale with the reseller or applicable statutory rights.
Defective product will be repaired or exchanged free of charge if it can be verified that the defects were caused by a material or manufacturing fault.
This warranty does not cover parts or consumable accessories subject to wear & tear during use.
This warranty only covers defects arising under normal usage and does not cover any malfunction, failure or defect resulting from misuse, abuse (including overloading of the product beyond capacity and excessive exposure to water or rain), accidents, neglect or lack of proper installation and improper maintenance or storage.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser at retail and may not be transferred.
This warranty does not cover the damage resulting from modification, alteration or unauthorized repair.
Claims under the warranty must be made within the warranty term. The equipment must be returned together with the original proof of purchase (stating the purchase date and product description) to the reseller from whom the equipment was originally purchased. In the event that this is not possible please use the details provided on this website to contact your authorised EGO Power+ service centre.
Faulty EGO Power+ batteries MUST NOT be shipped via any 3rd party transportation system without first contacting the retailer from which it was purchased.
Any claims other than the right to have the defect rectified as stated in this warranty are excluded. The warranty term for the equipment is not extended or renewed as a result of any rectification of the equipment being undertaken.
