Klettersteig karabiners are notorious for their wide gate opening and large internal area, enabling easy clipping onto safety cables and attachment points. The large features of the steel klettersteig make it suitable for rigging applications. This is also facilitated by its very strong and tough design which is zinc coated for additional corrosion protection.
