Lyon’s nylon 25mm Textile Slings are the workhorse of our textile anchor selection. Used throughout the work and rescue sectors, these slings enable anchors to be quickly created around a variety of natural and artificial features.
- The endless loop construction is manufactured from 25mm wide nylon webbing, sewn using a five-bar computer-controlled stitch pattern.
- Our webbing is specially selected to meet the strength, ease of handling and robustness required by professional users.

Lyon
In 1965, Ben Lyon and his engineer brother Graham began making caving ladders, registering the name 'Lyon Ladders' in 1973. That same year, Ben and Mike Meredith led a caving expedition to France and visited Fernand Petzl’s workshop. Mike started importing Petzl products to the UK, and in 1974, Lyon became Petzl’s first overseas distributor.
Today, based in Tebay, Cumbria, Lyon continues to produce their original ladders. They have expanded their product line to include strops, slings, and a wide range of rope access equipment used by industries, cavers, and climbers.
