Description
The TSA 230.1 is a 9” (230 mm) battery-powered cut-off machine in the STIHL AP System. It’s exceptionally easy to handle thanks to its compact, well-balanced design, and is designed for professionals working in construction, hardscaping and pipework – making it an ideal choice for making short cuts in paving stones, brickwork and steel.
Fitted as standard with a K-ME abrasive cutting wheel, the TSA 230.1 offers improved cutting performance compared to the TSA 230.0, with a higher power output of 2.1 kW and a faster overall cutting speed. This extends the types of jobs and applications the cutting machine can perform.
As the TSA 230.1 is battery-powered, it has low noise emissions during cutting. It is fitted with a powerful, low-maintenance EC motor that operates almost wear-free, is quiet, and provides smooth running and low vibrations – ensuring the tool performs at optimum throughout the entire battery charge.
Thanks to its emission-free operation, the TSA 230.1 can be used inside buildings. The integrated water connection is easy to set up, too. A fixed magnesium guard with an integrated water guide is reinforced with stainless steel, providing a clear view of the cutting wheel during use. An integrated spindle lock makes changing the cutting wheel quick and easy – simply press the spindle lock, loosen the retaining screw, then tighten it again.
The TSA 230.1 must be used with the AP 300 S battery for maximum performance. If you use an AP 200 S, performance will be reduced. With the AP 300 S fully charged, the TSA 230.1 has a working time of 20 minutes.
